Prof. Zulim completed his Ph.D in 1990 in Electical Engineering, Electronics, at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering (Zagreb, Croatia). Rsearch interests are in semiconductor electronic-devices and circuits, materials for photovoltaic energy conversion, solar cells, nanoelectronics. He has published more than 70 papers in reputed journals, and 10 of those are related to the field of nanotechnology (modeling and simulation of disordered structures). He has very fruitful collaboration with the Institute of Physics Ruđer Bošković, Zagreb, Croatia (dr. Branko Pivac), the Walter Schottky Institute, Garching, Germany, the Racah Institute of Physics, the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel (prof. Isaac Balberg), Universidade Nova de Lisboa-CENIMAT, Lisboa, Portugal (prof. Elvira Fortunato) and Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam, India.
