Education: Department of Physics, Leningrad University 1953; Department of Metallurgy, The Polytechnic Institute 1953; PhD-1962; Senior Researcher 1966; Res. Prof.- Dr. Sci. (Techn.), 1979; Research and Professional Experience: Central Research Institute of Ships Mechanical Engineering, leading researcher and head of laboratory of strength (1967-1991); The Polzunov Central Boiler and Turbine Institute, Chief researcher (1991-1996, 2003- until now); St.Petersburg State Polytechnical University, Professor (1997- 2015).

Structure and properties (creep, relaxation of stress, low-cyclic fatigue) of metallic materials at high temperatures,single crystal alloys) The theories of fracture and deforming of materials in complex programs of cyclic loading Corrosion of metallic materials and coatings in gas mediums, Calculations and experiments of construction strength and life estimation of parts, worked at high temperatures,Technological problems of hot treatment of alloys
