Biography

Professor Luísa M.D.R.S. Martins got her Chemical Engineering degree (1990), Ph.D. (1996) and Habilitation (2015) from IST, University of Lisbon. She is Researcher at Centro de Química Estrutural (Coordination Chemistry and Catalysis Group) of IST and member of the Research Core Team and Executive Committee of PhD programme - Catalysis and Sustainability. She is (1996) Adjunct Professor at the Chemical Engineering Department of ISEL, Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon and Vice-President of the said Department. She has authored more than 100 manuscripts, 12 patents and supervised 12 PhD and 14 Master students. She is also President of the Portuguese Electrochemical Society.
